Tue. April 1 As
we have just finished the Easter season let me encourage all of you not to
forget the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. Remember, missions begins at home.
Wed. April 2 Pray
for a Matching Conference in Richmond,
Virginia where a group of 2 + 2
students from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary will be praying over
and committing themselves to personnel requests in the CESA region.
Thur. April 3 Please
lift this time of decision to the Lord asking for clear job descriptions that
will communicate God’s leadership in the lives of these seminary students who
have done two years on campus and at the end of 2008 will begin two years of
practical hands-on training on the field.
Fri. April 4 Ask
God to prepare the teams receiving these missionaries to be the kind of mentors
and encouragers needed.
Sat. April 5 Pray
for God’s clear leadership in the lives of these students that they would know
“this is the way, walk in it”.
Sun. April 6 Rejoice
in the opportunity of this partnership between CESA and SEBTS.
Mon. April 7 Praise
the Lord that Katelyn up loaded her book to the publisher. Pray that everything
will go as it should. When it is published we will let you know.
Tue. April 8 As
Strategy Leader for the Maasai of Tanzania pray that Dan will begin to
formulate a plan of action for when we return to the field in September.
Wed. April 9 Pray
that we will know the exact location where we should live that would best help
us reach the Maasai.
Thur. April 10 We
praise the Lord for the possibility of partnering with two churches. Pray for
God to continue to guide these churches as they seek His direction for future
ministry with us.
Fri. April 11 Pray
for us as we begin developing a Master Plan for those who would like to partner
with us.
Sat. April 12 Pray
that as the medical department reviews our physicals they will quickly grant us
medical clearance to return to Tanzania
in September.
Sun. April 13 May
God continue to give us hearts that expect the unexpected, that are
filled with obedience and that are marked by generous spirits.
Mon. April 14 Praise
the Lord that Katelyn will be able to attend the MK Re-entry retreat in August
and be able to reconnect with many of her mission cousins.
Tue. April 15 Continue
praying for the families of Kid’s Fort that we will be able to impact them for
Christ.
Wed. April 16 Pray
for Kid’s Fort as we have our final Early Release day of this school year.
Thur. April 17 Pray
for the new teachers and leadership positions at Kid’s Fort for the summer.
Fri. April 18 Pray
that the one God wants to take over the Assistant Director position at Kid’s
Fort will be clear to those doing the hiring.
Sat. April 19 Begin
praying for Katelyn and her group going on World Changers in June.
Sun. April 20 Pray
that God will prepare Katelyn’s heart to hear His voice in the days and weeks
ahead.
Mon. April 21 Pray
for Tim as he begins taking final exams tomorrow. Pray that he will remember
all that he has studied.
Tue. April 22 Please
pray for the next session of 40 Days and 40 Nights Orientation that begins
April 23 lasting until May 22, 2008.
Wed. April 23 Pray
that this time for new missionaries coming to CESA would allow them opportunity
to shed their western ways and learn from Africans the culture and worldview of
Africans.
Thur. April 24 Pray
for opportunities given to share their faith, use storying to communicate the
Word of God, and to develop relationships with the African partners going out
with them daily on field assignments. Fri. April 25 Pray
for the 3 days of a home stay in a national home and then the several days of
debriefing their experiences.
Sat. April 26 Pray
for teachable hearts, flexible lives, and an excitement to touch the heart and
life of African people.
Sun. April 27 Ask
God to use this time to build a foundation for future ministry to the peoples
of CESA.
Mon. April 28 Thank
you for praying for Tim during his second year of college. He has finished Trident Technical College
with an Associate of Arts degree. Tue. April 29 Please
continue praying for Tim as he will be attending the College of Charleston
in the fall where he will pursue a degree in Physical Education with a minor in
Geography.
Wed. April 30 Pray
for Katelyn as she starts her last month of high school that she will continue
working hard to get the grades she needs.
