Johnson June 2008 Prayer Calendar

Sun. June 1 Pray for the families of the children from Kid’s Fort as the children share songs and verses during the service at Old Fort Baptist Church. Pray God will touch the hearts of many family members.

Mon. June 2 Praise the Lord that we were able to find an apartment in Mount Pleasant, SC.

Tue. June 3 Praise the Lord for the seniors as they celebrate their accomplishments tonight at the School of the Arts Senior Awards night.

Wed. June 4 Pray for all of the graduates from School of the Arts, especially Katelyn, as they graduate tonight and begin the next stage of their lives.

Thur. June 5 Pray for Kid’s Fort as they begin their Summer Camp today. We are opened from 7 AM until 6 PM. Pam works the morning shift and Dan will be working the afternoon shift.

Fri. June 6 Pray for good weather as we have a Family Day Cook Out at Kid’s Fort today.

Sat. June 7 Thank you for praying for Katelyn’s Prom. Even though there was some bad weather all that day they were able to take the cruise for most of the night. She had a fantastic time.

Sun. June 8 Continue to pray that they will quickly grant us medical clearance to return to Tanzania in September. At this time we still have heard nothing from the medical department.

Mon. June 9 Continue to pray that as Strategy Leader for the Maasai of Tanzania Dan will begin to formulate a plan of action for when we return to the field in September.

Tue. June 10 We praise the Lord for the possibility of partnering with two churches. Pray for God to continue to guide these churches as they seek His direction for future ministry with us.

Wed. June 11 Praise the Lord for giving Dan the opportunity to share with a youth group from one of the churches that wants to partner with us and sharing with them how they can be a part of what we will be doing in Tanzania.

Thur. June 12 Pray for us as we work on a Master Plan for those who would like to partner with us.

Fri. June 13 Pray for Pam as she has taken over the job of Cluster Prayer Advocate for the Central/Western Cluster of Tanzania. There are many facets of the job that have changed since the Johnsons came stateside in 2006 and it is a bit overwhelming.

Sat. June 14 Praise the Lord of the Harvest for sending new workers to the CESA region.

Sun. June 15 Praise the Lord for your father whether he is still living or not. Be especially grateful for your heavenly Father.

Mon. June 16 As new personnel come to work among some of CESA’s most resistant people groups, please ask God to grant quick adjustments, proficiency in language and openness among their people. 

Tue. June 17 As the application and selection process for the Fall Hands-On Africa is in full swing, please pray that people will be carefully matched to the right assignment. 

Wed. June 18 Ask that the Lord of the Harvest would send prepared workers and that this opportunity would be a life changing one.

Thur. June 19 Pray for missionaries in remote, hard, and unresponsive areas that they not become discouraged or weary in the battle.   Pray for victory in spiritual warfare.  

Fri. June 20 Pray strongholds will be broken down and that the power of Christ will be seen in lives.   Pray that they will see God working among their people groups!  

Sat. June 21 Pray for Katelyn and her group as they travel to North Carolina today for a week of service on a World Changer’s site.

Sun. June 22 Pray for Katelyn and the other youth as they participate in World Changers this week that they will all stay safe.

Mon. June 23 Pray for Katelyn and the other youth as they participate in World Changers this week that they will show the love of Christ to those they come in contact with.

Tue. June 24 Pray for Katelyn and the other youth as they participate in World Changers that they will learn more about God as they have times of worship.

Wed. June 25 Pray for Katelyn and the other youth as they participate in World Changers that they will have servant attitudes.

Thur. June 26 Pray for Katelyn and the other youth as they participate in World Changers that they will make commitments to Christ through this experience.

Fri. June 27 Pray for Katelyn the other youth as they participate in World Changers that they will finish well today.

Sat. June 28 Pray for the group that went to World Changers as they travel back today. Also, pray for the Johnsons as they begin moving into Tim and Katelyn’s new apartment home today.

Sun. June 29 Pray that as Tim and Katelyn resettle that they will find a church close by where they can become active members.

Mon. June 30 Pray for Katelyn as she celebrates her 18^th birthday today. Pray that God will work in her life in such a way that she will be totally sold out to Him.
